East Carolina University has a primary strategic direction to prepare leaders for our state and nation. Within the College of Nursing the East Carolina Center for Nursing Leadership (ECCNL) is a critical vehicle for achieving that mission.

Our Vision

The East Carolina Center for Nursing Leadership (ECCNL) has as its overall goal the development of leadership behaviors that promote partnership and collaboration among undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and practicing nurses in NC by:
